Primary Connect has continued its partnership with General Mills and Foodbank Australia for the third consecutive year on a special program to feed more vulnerable Australians. 

Foobank’s Collaborative Supply Program is an initiative by the hunger relief charity to collaborate with manufacturers and their component suppliers to produce a sustainable source of key staple foods such as pasta, sausages and milk that don’t come in sufficient quantities via normal rescue channels.

As part of the program, General Mills will produce around 10,000 Latina™ Fresh Spinach & Ricotta Agnolotti meals each month for Foodbank Australia at its factory in Western Sydney.

Primary Connect provides pro bono transportation for Foodbank to get the products to Foodbank’s warehouses around Australia. General Mills donates production time and labour to make the product and its suppliers donate the raw materials, packaging and services.

Since August 2020, Primary Connect has delivered nearly 312 pallets of Latina™ Fresh Spinach & Ricotta Agnolotti meals.
