The Primary Connect team has officially expanded across the Tasman, bringing the total number of team members moving products for its customers to 84.
The Primary Connect brand was officially launched in New Zealand on 26th February at Woolworths New Zealand’s Auckland Support Office.
Primary Connect New Zealand works with the country’s leading carrier partners to manage transport from the factory or farm into Woolworths’ four distribution centres and other destinations around the country.
Malcolm Martis, Senior Business Development Manager for Primary Connect New Zealand, said the expansion would provide additional value for new and existing Primary Connect customers.
“Although New Zealand only has a team of 12 compared to 72 in Australia, our range of services offered are very similar,” he said.
“The New Zealand team works very closely with Primary Connect in Australia and we always learn from their experiences.”
As part of its future growth plan, Primary Connect is investigating opportunities to provide international services between Australia and New Zealand.
