Each Valentine’s Day, we work closely with our long-time supplier partner, Pohlmans Nursery, to provide Woolworths customers with a fantastic assortment of fresh flowers.
Pohlmans Nursery is the largest independently owned retail and wholesale production nursery on the east coast of Australia. They are a family business that source, propagate and produce ornamental plants for both retail chains and independent stores. Primary Connect have been a proud partner of the nursery for more than 20 years.
We provide domestic transport for potted plants as well as the all-important roses and kalanchoes for Valentine’s Day.
We move these goods directly from the nursery to all Primary Connect DCs on Australia’s East Coast.
This is completed via road weekly, with Valentine’s Day being a particularly busy period.
Of course, shipping potted plants has its challenges, as the plant is a living product.
